Hi everyone! I can’t believe my reign has ended, and this is my last blog post as your MCCA Sweetheart. I have loved nothing more than to serve our grand county and to represent our prosperous beef industry. As many of you know, I competed for the FCA Sweetheart position in June, and I was blessed with that opportunity. I can’t thank MCCA, and everyone who ran practice interviews with me, answered late-night texts, read over my PowerPoints, and everything in between. Thus far, I have attended many events promoting the beef industry along with the opportunity to network with cattlemen throughout the state. I am proud to represent the Florida cattle industry, but I am even more humbled to have come from the best county in the state of Florida. 

To Shelbie, 
I have watched you grow into an outstanding professional, and I am so excited to watch you grow even more on this journey! I know that you will represent this organization with grace, eloquence and, and poise. You are going to rock this position and make Manatee County proud at the convention in June!
